Our Policies FunZone Terms & Conditions

Safety and the enjoyment of the facilities is of paramount importance to FunZone and therefore the terms and conditions outlined below must be complied with at all time by all persons visiting the premises.

In these terms and conditions, the following definitions shall apply:
FunZone: (FunZone, Qurm, Oman)

Ticket: a valid ticket permitting the holder, entry to FunZone.

Our Terms

  • Any person(s) found to be outside of the following terms and conditions may be refused entry or be removed from the premises by FunZone security staff without the right to a refund and may be refused entry upon future attempts to visit FunZone.
  • All FunZone tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
  • FunZone Staff will not be responsible for any tickets which are lost or stolen.
  • The ticket holder has a right only to a session of the value corresponding to that stated on the ticket.
  • Tickets cannot be resold, exchanged, refunded or transferred. To do so or to alter or deface any ticket will render it void. It is the customer responsibility to check his or her tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
  • Whilst at FunZone all visitors must comply with any reasonable instructions given by FunZone staff, health and safety notices, policies and announcements and/or any third party instructed on behalf of FunZone.
  • All children entering FunZone must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible person aged 18 or over at all times. FunZone does not cater for the provision nor accept responsibility for the supervision of children.
  • Age and height restrictions may apply to areas of FunZone and must be adhered to. Children over the height restrictions may only play at the discretion of FunZone staff.
  • For health and hygiene reasons accompanying adults must ensure that children wash their hands before entering the play area after using the toilet.
  • Nappy changing and the use of potties is restricted to the baby changing room and visitors are requested to dispose of nappies in the designated bins.
  • Parents/supervising adults are advised that their child should wear long sleeves and trousers while ice- skating to reduce the likelihood of friction burns.
  • FunZone will not be held liable for any injury caused from playing on the play equipment.
  • Only food purchased at FunZone is permitted to be consumed on the premises.
  • When consuming food and drink in FunZone visitors should make every effort to clear away their food/drink debris and, if necessary, report and spillages to a member of FunZone staff to maintain health and hygiene standards.
  • Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside of FunZone.
  • Smoking, eating and drinking are not permitted within the ice rink or changing facilities.
  • Each ice skate session is normally 60 minutes long. Ticket holders will not be permitted to continue skating once their allocated session is over.
  • The ice-skating monitor reserves the right to close the ice rink if necessary and the monitor decision is final.
  • FunZone staff accepts no responsibility for any personal property left in lockers or common areas.
  • Please note children who cannot walk by themselves are not permitted on the ice, children 5 years and over but under 8 years old must be accompanied on the ice by a parent or guardian in the interests of safety. Children 8 years and over but under 12 years old may skate without a parent or guardian on the ice but must be supervised from the public viewing area.
  • Fighting, bullying or any kind of abusive behaviour towards others, including FunZone staff, by person(s) will not be tolerated and the offender may be asked to leave FunZone without the right to a refund.
  • Parents/supervising adults are requested to report any behavioural concerns to a member of FunZone staff and not to attempt to intervene themselves.
  • As part of FunZone ’s ongoing commitment to health and safety, all accidents should be reported to a member of FunZone staff and will be logged and assistance given if necessary.
  • Any damage to FunZone property, whether intentional or unintentional should be reported to a member of FunZone staff.
  • FunZone cannot be held responsible for damage, injury or loss other than a death arising from FunZone ’s negligence.
  • FunZone accepts no liability or for the loss, theft or damage of personal possessions including vehicles parked in FunZone parking areas.
  • FunZone has wheelchair access and accommodates wheelchair users. Where necessary wheelchair users must be accompanied by a carrier and FunZone staff will not provide a carrier in the absence of a carrier.
  • Visitors who are deemed to be under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other illegal substances or are found with weapons or offensive objects on their possession will be asked to leave or refused entry without the right to a refund.
  • Upon entering FunZone visitors give consent to be photographed or recorded and for any photographs, films or recordings to be used by FunZone in any future promotional activities.
  • In the event of any conflict between these terms and conditions and the terms and conditions imposed by any ticket agency, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
